Following on from Engaging Reluctant Readers, this 70-page photocopiable resource contains a further eight guided reading units presented in a variety of structures. As with Engaging Reluctant Readers, this resource will enable teachers to: use daily learning intentions to target the specific learning needs of reluctant readers; observe reading behaviours and provide appropriate support; model reading strategies by thinking aloud; and, engage students in discussion to build meaning and make inferences.
