This four-book photocopiable series is packed with quiz questions and puzzles to challenge students as they develop and practice a range of research and information skills in the school library. Each book comes complete with quizzes and puzzles that relate to a range of learning areas. Students will use a range of reference resources including encyclopaedias, dictionaries, atlases and internet searches. Each quiz sheet contains 20 questions - students will decide on the best information sources and come up with answers. Teachers and librarians are encouraged to use the quizzes in the library in any way they see fit. For example, if spread over the year there may be a Class Library Quiz Champ for each term, and for the year overall. Alternatively they could simply be used as supplementary activities for library time – with students either being assigned or choosing their own quizzes. Answers and extension activities are included.
