Beating the Blues Book B
The focus of this two-book photocopiable resource series is to help students with special learning needs to better understand their emotions, take ownership and look for ways to resolve their own emotional problems. Book A looks at personal blues, and contains these sections: understanding feelings; having self-esteem; feeling depressed; thinking positively; feeling stressed; feeling anxious; getting relaxed. Book B looks at relationship blues, and contains these sections: facing loss; when parents split; step-families; making friends; bullying; being assertive; breaking bad habits; steps to problem-solving. The aim is to help provide students with the necessary tools to deal with their feelings in constructive and empowering ways.
