Based on the popular two-book series of the same name, this Digital Download provides opportunities for students to interact with fascinating and always topical Antarctic region, from both a historical and contemporary perspective. Much of the digital media concerns people and how they dealt with (and continue to deal with) the harsh natural environment of Antarctica. The resource is packed with bright, colourful images, audio and visual features including video footage, interesting Antarctic facts and figures, and pop-up diagrams that can be used alongside the many student activities.
